Residential

Heritage restoration as a long-term hold.

The portfolio

The core of the family's holdings is period London — Victorian and Georgian stock concentrated in Hackney, with selected acquisitions across South East London, Kent, and East Sussex.

Each property is restored with care to its original fabric and held for the long term. Original features — sash windows, cornices, fireplaces, exposed brickwork — are retained and worked with rather than replaced. The firm's residential portfolio comprises freehold buildings, multi-unit conversions, individual period homes, country house conversions, land-led development, and selected bulk apartment acquisitions, developed and built by an in-house construction team and managed by an in-house property team that has worked with these buildings for decades.

Acquisitions are made privately, off-market or through long-standing introducer relationships. The portfolio grows quietly, one building at a time. Across three generations, the firm has developed and delivered over 1,000 residential units.

Restoration Philosophy

Repair before replace.

Restoration is a continuous part of the group's work. Original features — sash windows, cornices, fireplaces, staircases, brickwork, and façades — are retained and repaired wherever possible. The objective is not to over-design, but to return buildings to a condition that respects their period, setting, and long-term value.
